British Heart Foundation is a charity working to fight against
heart disease. Publishes a range of excellent leaflets on
various aspects of heart disease. Comprehensive website
has a Healthy Heart section describing links between heart
disease and smoking, alcohol, physical exercise, diet, stress
and high blood pressure. BHF also funds and co-ordinates
the Heartstart UK initiative which promotes and develops
emergency life support training throughout the UK. |
