The idea behind this project is to provide a suitable source of health information for Nursery and Day Care personnel, not detailed medical advice, but information that is simple and understandable.
It can also be a source of help and advice that can be shared with concerned parents. The factsheets are designed to be photocopied and handed to parents as well as other carers. These factsheets have been written in a format, which should make them suitable for both nursery personnel and parents to read and understand. The pack covers the basic principles of various health issues and covers only the most common.
This pack is in no way an alternative to seeing a doctor or a reference manual in child health. We strongly advise that you seek medical attention if you are not happy with your child's health and well being.
